Meet Leslie Kincaid.
Hi, I’m Leslie.
I specialize in helping small businesses, start-ups, and non-profits simplify and scale HR and people operations. My career began in tech, where I helped companies like Pinterest and Convoy grow from early-stage start-ups into full-fledged companies with 100+ employees.
Along the way, I learned how to wear many hats—building HR programs, setting up benefits and leave policies, managing performance reviews, hiring and training teams, and making sure workplaces ran smoothly.
Today, I bring that same expertise to all types of businesses. Whether you need help with compliance, policies, employee engagement, or day-to-day HR support, I focus on creating practical, people-first solutions that fit your business size and budget.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the Pacific Northwest with my husband, two young boys, and two Boston Terriers in our travel trailer. At home, I love gardening, baking strawberry rhubarb, pumpkin or cherry pies, and working on puzzles. In my pre-kids-life, I scuba’d all over the world, and I hope to someday start diving again as a family activity.
EXPERIENCE
10th employee
Established the Workplace, Finance, HR, and Legal functions.
Established Uber’s first remote engineering office in Seattle.
Developed and scaled non-technical programs for a technical workforce (i.e. onboarding, mentorship, etc.)
Hired to build and scale the IT and workplace teams.
Held roles leading the workplace and employee experience teams and ran multiple HR functions (benefits and leave, performance reviews, etc.)
Served as Chief of Staff to the CTO.
